Tottenham may have conceded first but they have been constantly knocking on Luton doors.
Throughout the first half, Spurs created numerous scoring opportunities, only to be denied by heroic blocks or the woodwork.
Their most promising chance came in the 20th minute when Luton’s midfield was caught short, allowing Son to break clear of the defense and round Kaminski in the box.
Son’s shot struck both posts before Werner and Sarr’s successive follow-up attempts were heroically blocked.
The entire stadium was left wondering how the ball did not go in.
