Tottenham already has a Sissoko replacement in their squad

By Bruce Grove -

Moussa Sissoko is one of Tottenham’s biggest players and he has been trusted by Jose Mourinho in several games this season, but his future might be uncertain by the end of this season.

The Frenchman has partnered with the impressive Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and has also played in a more advance role this season.

One key attribute that he has is his pace, but he does lack technicality in his play.

This season might be his last as a regular for the club and this is because of the impressive form being shown by Oliver Skipp on loan at Norwich.

The England Under21 international has been arguably the most impressive young midfielder in England’s second tier this season.

His form is one reason Norwich is in line to make an immediate return to England’s top flight.

Football Insider claims that Spurs sees him as a big part of their future and they believe he will be a key member of their team next season.

Mourinho has been struggling to find the ideal midfield partner to Hojbjerg in his team and the report says they believe Skipp can fill that position.

His addition to the team will also push Harry Winks further down the pecking order and might even prompt him to leave.

Nope. It’s because he’s 32 this Aug, and his contract is running down. Skipp is a great player. He’s not at Sissoko’s level yet, and will never have the pace, power, or physical dominance that Moussa brings. No knock on Skip, more a knock on the typical clueless nonsense this Grove character spunks all over this blog.

Especially when he stick his arm out straight in the area for no apparent in a European final, waiting for someone to boot the ball at it…

I still can’t believe how little criticism he gets for that, it wa such crucial moment and he was supposed to be one of the more experienced players.

However, had we started Moura he’d have scored another a hat trick!

Any comparisons with Sissoko are unfortunate. Skipp is his own type of player, I really hope he aims higher than that!

Sissoko should be on his knees grateful that he actually earns a Living as a Footballer.
