The Azza Blud Replacement

By The Boy -

It’s obviously time to move Azza Blud on.

Many moons ago I remember Henry Winter referring to Chapeltown’s favourite son as, “wing heeled.” This was ahead of a World Cup or a Euros.

Here we are in 2014 and the dream is over. As per ***** and Thud, it’s just another case of what might have been.

This season Azza has made 55 crosses, of which a whole 1 resulted in a goal. He’s made 2 assists and looking at them both, only one of them was from a cross.

In a couple of games this season, he was particularly awful. He made 13 completed passes in the last game AVB managed and he actually regressed against Stoke, achieving just 12 completed passes.

Thud has come on leaps and bounds since joining Hull. He appears to a large extent to have stopped doing footballer impressions, and instead is attempting to play football. The same accusation could be made about Livermore.

This season, Jake’s made 4 assists, scored 3 goals and created 31 chances.

I’m sick to the back teeth with fans being wowed by pace. Rose was romanticised out of all proportion and as has Townsend.

Both appear to have finally revealed for what they are. Either too daft to survive at this level, or in dire need of coaching. Let’s hope it is the latter.

Is Livermore the answer? What was the question? Don’t be like that, let’s get Jake back in (along with Holtby).

The new boss will make men out them!
