It’s that boy Son Heung-min is South Korea’s very own piece of dynamite.
Spurs success rate at making crosses is best described as abysmal. At the last look, our ability to convert is currently at a miserable 22% – on par with Bournemouth.
While you were pondering about over your cheese and mechanically reclaimed ham for lunch, South Korean’s finest was helping dispose of China 2 goals two nil.
Which means Sonny’s lot win their group at the 2019 Asia Cup!
For clarity, the problem is too many internationals – not a problem of not having enough home grown.
Home grown quota not a huge issue – Kane, Dele, Winks, Rose, Davies, Tripps = 6. Then U21s you have Skipp, Walker-Peters and Foyth is still U21 = 9 players that don’t count towards the magic number of 17 international players.
Lloris / Gazzaniga / Vorm / Alderweireld / Sanchez / Vertonghen / Aurier / Dier / Sissoko / Wanyama / Son / Eriksen / Lamela / Moura / Llorente.
–
Nkoudou / Janssen.
–
= 17
Dembele makes 18. But technically it was Janssen out the squad etc.
So now we’re at 16 international players as Janssen isn’t registered with the squad.
Vorm is off in the summer. Nkoudou and Janssen have to go at some point. Llorente could go. That’s another 4 international spots freed up and off the wage bill.
Franky Lampard did – just saying!
I can help it, without any trouble whatsoever…
One of the more educated intellectual guys you could see level headed Frank Lampard managing a PL club one day!
Can’t help but like Frank Lampard TBF.
Pancenic!
Dembele joined Tottenham for £15m from Fulham in 2012 and made 250 appearances but has only played 13 times this season.
Need dembele moved on, as need the squad place as we are already 1 short on the home grown quota (which between transfer windows we’ve not identified how to resolve as well).
One season I discovered that WBA scored approx 35% of their goals from corners simply because Chrissy Brunt essentially whipped the ball into the mixer with pace for both central defenders Craig Dawson and McCauley nodding in!!
But never chipped in with any goals??????????????????
Khiedra didn’t look amused.
FT Juve 1-0 Milan
………….or opened a corner shop……….
Pjanic has been crap.

Well said me lud!
Fare thee well Mousa, you more often than not were an absolute joy to behold and there’s many a match we wouldn’t have won without you. With the ball at your feet you struck fear into the hearts of the opposition and pride in the hearts of Spurs fans. For me you have been one of the best midfielders i’ve watched wearing the chicken badge. I’m just sorry that you never got to lift a meaningful pot with us and can’t help but feel that being hocked off to China for a pittance, without the opportunity to say goodbye from the pitch is an ignominious end for such a faithful and talented player.
On Dembeles departure:
“I go with an unbelievable feeling and a certain love for the club,” said Dembele. “It has been very special.” Sometimes you separate in a bad way but I don’t feel it in a bad way. Everyone has been positive with me and has wished me luck and happiness. “The club always treated me fairly.
“It has been an unbelievable experience for me and I will always remember it.”
(BBC Sport)
Tripps is a player we know is at his best when you have two right backs playing
Dembele goes to China and 11m goes in the duffel bag to take to Joe.
Thanks Moussa, a great talent that never quite hit the hights at Spurs because of the injuries but even with all that, one of the best midfielders I’ve ever seen in a Spurs shirt.
All this talk about striker seems to be taking the attention away from the need for a midfield player…
Ronaldo is one greedy fecker, 2 men in box 91st min and he shoots from 28yds at an acute angle, feckin glory hunter, can’t be much fun for the other Juve front men, constantly assisting that twat.
Our set pieces from corners are woeful as equally is our ability to defend from corners or lateral/diagonal free kicks. As for our “specialists” neither Trippier nor Erikson can take them worth a damn, but both would be handy hanging back outside the box for a quick shot opportunity from a clearance.
Imagine if you had said take a corner to Levy!!! He’d have flogged it by now
At last, Ronaldo scores Juve 1-0 Milan 61 mins, get Higuain on now for a Cameltoe before he departs foe Spurs.
Frank lampard knows what he’s doing. Well played derby.

With the likes of Troy Parrott likely to be launched onto the PL stage I am pretty relaxed!!
The whole transfer strategy and squad management has been ridiculous the last few seasons.
Yes – Amos is another one U21, but he’s injured!
We have a squad place that is not used due to quota, isn’t that an issue? Esp in season where it’s been heavy with injuries. We can always have youth added to that
