Ryan Sessegnon could finally be on his way to Spurs.
Fulham have just completed the loan signing of Rafa Soares from Porto. The 22-year-old spent last season loaned out to Rio Ave and has played 9 times for Portugal U21s. The player told the press: “Fulham has a reputation of a Premier League club and this season I want to help put the club back in the place it belongs.”
This would facilitate Sessegnon getting the move he really wanted and was all set to make until Fulham started to get cute with Levy over the terms – as they believed they could benefit from the Bonzo fee.
That deal was then unexpectedly put on hold. Then Danny Rose went full numb-nut. Then Levy had a re-think …and now we’re back in for the boy.
At 17 years of age, kindly note that this is yet another one for the Academy.
Possible complications this time round? Manchester United are said to be notionally interested.
