Home » Mousa’s Shot

This season has taken it’s toll on all of us.

The spin from the club suggests that Levy is to take more of a backseat and that footballing matters will be become a more delegated affair.

Again, this is THFC giving away only that which it can afford to relinquish, rather than communicating properly with the schmoes that support them.

The reason he needs to delegate is that he physically won’t have enough hours in the day to both buy players off spreadsheets – and work out the net broadcasting revenues regionally, from an NFL game.

The BBC say that the attendance at The Lane was 35,784 on Sunday. One can only presume that this was the officially released figure from Spurs.

My TV may not be 4k, but I can still differentiate between human beings and large numbers of pieces of blue plastic.

Sad news about Jimmy Greaves.

This from the Press Association:

Football legend Jimmy Greaves suffered a severe stroke on Sunday May 3, and is in intensive care in hospital.

His wife, Irene, and four children have asked for privacy during what is a worrying time for the family.

They will issue a bulletin on his condition when it is appropriate.”

Jim was due to be inducted into the Tottenham Hotspur Hall of Fame on May 13th, but given that he’s currently in intensive care, that will be postponed, perhaps indefinitely.

Let’s hope the old fella comes out of this particular bad tackle non too scathed.

Ryan Mason came for some antisocial attention across social media in the Man City game.

Time for a few stragglers out there to wake up and smell the bean-counter.

The only reason Pochettino is playing a limited range of players, is because (as per Tim) he’s looking for guys that will actually take instruction.

Mason ain’t perfect, but he’s a young guy who’s been thrown in the deep end and is giving the Chicken Badge his all.

Look at Bentaleb. A player increasingly making traction in one of the world’s most demanding leagues.

He’s improved, and some of you lot were accusing him and Tim of being involved in some illicit affair.

More power to him, I say.

I’ve been told that there is nothing particularly sinister in Mousa Dembele’s absence.

It’s just that his hip is shot and that once his engine hits so many revs (so to speak) the injury that’s been on and been off, flares up again.

The suggestion is that the club are preferring to keep this ‘in-house’ just in case a summer bid comes in.

Oh me and my big mouth…
