Paul Merson as a pundit is a routinely mixed bag. Of course, he’s played the game at the highest level, but regrettably, he’s not very bright, and a recent meandering swipe at Mourinho, he claimed that Harry Kane would fail under the Special One’s tutelage.
Sure, there are one or two minor inaccuracies, but Merson is truly out of his depth in this company.
The problem with Merson, and his type, is that he will have learned nothing from this humiliating exchange, and has contributed nothing of value to football in this, his most recent sorry episode.
And that’s the polite version.
Utd, Liverpool and Woolwich 🤦🏼♂️🤷🏻♂️
A man who cried when he saw Razor Ruddock having a drink is beyond the pale!
But as long as their CV contains time in a red kit they will be welcome at SkyHQ.
Merson doesn’t even have comedy value such are his ramblings. In fact same can be said for the whole sky team except of course Kammy and unbelievable Jeff
