Tottenham enter race to sign 24-year-old Liverpool attacking target

Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly keeping tabs on the Wolverhampton Wanderers winger Pedro Neto.

The 24-year-old Portuguese winger is a man in demand and clubs like Liverpool, Arsenal and Newcastle United are all keen on signing him.

As per TeamTalk, Liverpool want him to replace Mohamed Salah if the Egyptian leaves at the end of the season. Tottenham are also keen on securing his services.

The north London outfit have already signed a quality right-sided winger in Brennan Johnson earlier this summer. Neto could be an exceptional acquisition on the left. He will add flair, creativity and goals to the side from the wide areas.

The 24-year-old has recovered from his serious knee injury and he will be hoping to get back to his best now.

Neto has proven his quality in the Premier League in the past and he is certainly good enough to improve teams like Tottenham. The north London outfit will need more depth and quality in their squad if they want to compete for major trophies in the coming seasons. Someone like Neto would be a proven performer for them.

Spurs must look to move quickly if they want to beat the competition from their Premier League rivals and sign the Portuguese international at the end of the season.

It remains to be seen whether Tottenham decide to make a move for him in January. Wolves might not want to sell a key player midway through the season especially when it will be difficult to replace him.
