Pundit believes 30-year-old might have improved since Tottenham exit

By Saikat -

Tottenham Hotspur sanctioned the departure of Harry Kane during the summer transfer window.

The 30-year-old will be hoping to win major trophies with Bayern Munich after failing to win trophies at Tottenham.

Tony Cascarino believes that the England international has gone on to another level since moving to the German club. He believes that the former Tottenham striker has actually improved.

“I have never seen Kane look as physically imposing as he did against Italy at Wembley on Tuesday. He was holding off opposition defenders with tremendous upper body strength, and on the rare occasions when an Italy player got close enough to give him a shoulder barge, he barely moved,” he told The Times.

Kane has managed to hit the ground running in the Bundesliga scoring 8 goals in 7 league matches. He impressed with his performance against Manchester United in the Champions League and found the back of the net in that game as well. In addition to that, the England international has 5 assists to his name in all competitions.

Kane is undoubtedly one of the best strikers of his generation and Bayern Munich will be delighted with his performances so far. The German outfit will be hoping that the 30-year-old striker can help them win major trophies in the coming seasons.

The striker is at the peak of his powers right now and he will look to play his best football with the German club in the next few years.

While it is hard to ascertain whether Kane has improved as a player, it is certainly evident that Kane has flourished in a team with more quality.

At Tottenham, the England international had too much responsibility but he has been able to enjoy his football more at the German club where he has ample service from his teammates.
