ENGLAND WILL HEAD INTO TONIGHT’S FINAL as odds-on favourites with Ladbrokes to lift the trophy.
Having already seen off Germany, Ukraine and Denmark in the knockout stages, conceding just one goal in the process, the bookies now make Gareth Southgate’s men 3/4 favourites to win the trophy, while 6/4 says they win in normal time.
Elsewhere, 9/1 says the Three Lions win on penalties, while the Italians are also 9/1 shots to do the same.
Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: “It’s been some time since England were last in a major tournament final but with the backing of a full Wembley house, Southgate’s boys will step out as odds-on favourites to go out and lift the trophy.”

They know they’ll lose a ton of money if England win so they’ve dropped the odds considerably and probably hedged a lot with a bunch of foreign bookies on Italy winning.

I can only see England winning if: Sterling realises he has team mates & passes to them and one of: Pickford, Stones, Walker doesnt gift the opposition a goal…. the Italians are a lot more ruthless in front of goal than the Danes…

I expect an England win. I think Southgate has studied the success of the German national team and has made England hard to score against and has a couple of lethal forwards.
Italy lack a Harry Kane type and that will cost them.
