Yeah, f*ck me, if Daniel sees Conte getting them within even a sniff of an outside chance of top 4 without any new signings then there will be none. That’s the way he thinks, total pillock.

That would be ideal for us really, esp if he’s dead set on leaving.
Kane might not like the move as if his form dipped it might be a place the England set up don’t notice him, and he wouldn’t break all those Premier zleagye records. Or indeed win the PL.
I think Conte will want the wing backs to contribute much more in terms of goals and assists; at the same time, I don’t think he’ll expect PEH and Skipp to suddenly start banging them in. It will be mostly left up to the WBs, Kane, Son, and Moura.
Conte should get on the phone with Jose to find out what he did with Kane and Son to get them going.

Have to say that to me, this was a relatively positive performance. It’s easy to get upset looking at zero shots on goal again, and the game was not a brilliant watch, but I saw things that I liked – hopefully, the foundations of Conte’s style. Reguilon and Royal both got into scoring positions (and fluffed their lines), Lloris was relatively untroubled and did his sweeper job well, and I even liked what I saw of Davies. Worried that Romero will be targeted by serial cheaters like Richarlison – they’ll think there’s always a chance he’ll blow up and get sent off. All in all it was sound defensively.
Our attacking play was shocking, though. Moura’s close control let him down so many times I could weep and Son was unimpressive too – maybe he was affected by all the booing, “earned” by getting kicked lying down. Kane was subdued, but he still fashioned a great chance for Reg and made some decent passes. I thought Lo Celso at least had a decent go and almost scored, which is more than the others did.
Going away to a cagey Everton who had lost three on the bounce was never going to be an easy game, especially given that we really struggle to create chances this season. We didn’t really play well, but we were solid enough and I was never too worried about losing.
In short, not too awful, IF we start signing players for Conte soon. If we expect him to work with the same dead group and produce different results than Poch, Nuno, and Jose, he will go the same way the others did.
In fairness to them, he’s only been with The Spuds for 17 years, and in the senior team for 12, while the owners under funded the squad’s potential; the bleedin disloyal ba$tard.
Agree completely. A few players have ensured we punched above our weight only Kane and Son now look knackered and uninterested. Levy is an abysmal custodian and has set the club back to the 90s in performance terms.
I think you’re probably right to. There seem to be a lot of posters knocking around who rather spookily have direct access to Kane’s inner mental workings.

These dour performances of the last few seasons are solely attributable to Levy’s cuts, nothing else. We’ve been cut back to the bone and now we’re probably the worst team in London. Well done Daniel you jumped up little pr ick.
They’re professional players earning more a week than most a year or five. So what ! They’ve had to change tactics.

Bale and Vinicius scored I think sixteen and eleven goals respectively.
Who has replaced them. Bergwign doesn’t score, Moura scores the odd goal, Hojbjerg and Skipp don’t score much. Lo Celso and Tanguy should be reaching for double figures in a season but don’t.
The defence contribute almost nothing on the goal front. So if Son and Kane don’t score, and they aren’t, Spurs are stuffed.
I don’t think the comparison with Dele is fair. Kane has allowed that scumbag Levy to get away with a chronic lack of investment in the team. His hangover is likely a combination of the Euro loss coupled with Bald Tool being anything but a gentleman. I for one will give him the benefit of the doubt.
It’s about unlearning bad habits as much as playing Conte’s way. Habits like starting and finishing games slowly, turning up for one half of some games, not turning up at all other times, being unfit, being lazy, having no fight.

I don’t watch the game. Did the usual of checking the score throughout it and got more frustrated at zero shots on target from minute one to minute 94.
I know Conte has only been in charge a few days. But ! He wouldn’t have gone into days game without first viewing our last few games and realising one of the many problems he has to deal with is the lack of chances in front of goal. He could have changed things up front and didn’t
Just to play Devils advocate for a minute – in fairness to the squad, they’ve had to deal with switching from Maureen’s tactics, to Mason’s, to Nuno’s, to Conte’s, in a relatively short period. Maybe give everyone 10 matches or so to settle in?
15 million quid while he waits for a proper job, with no dent to his reputation in the meantime due to the complete lack of expectation Levy’s business model affords the club.
Kane is one bad tackle away from being worth zero million dollar and he’ll be the wrong side of 30…still think he’ll end up at Man U ahead of City if anyone takes him.
Who is getting Haaland? If that isn’t all tied up City will go in big for him next summer ahead of Kane you’d think.
They tried, they fought a bit more. Early days but there will be a limit to any improvement with this lot…

I would actually drop Kane and go back to the front lineup we had at the start of the season. I do agree though one striker isn’t a good look.
What were his choices up front? Apart from Kane and Son nobody else scores regularly. One striker on the books is not a good look.
