Well well, more light being shone on Levys dome shaped head. Every week he is further exposed for his incompetence and complete lack of executive integrity.

Conte is not having a bar of the ‘jam tomorrow’ mantra and rightly so. I’d love to know the names of the youth players levy is promoting.

The sad part is I am sure Conte has told levy that with x amount of £’s he can achieve success so this is now perhaps the most stark portrayal of Levy and ENICs lack of ambition

I’m guessing that levy and spurs never had any intention to hire conte but instead used the story to try and get fans to renew tickets. It increased right around that day when season tickets needed to be returned. Levy yet again showing his love for the fans and the club.

I’ve always liked wolves.

At the big school dance the boy Daniel is trying to score. He usually gets off with something half decent, the big new house, flash car and place in the country usually turn heads. But the word has started to get round about how he treats those he shacks-up with – even tho’ there are promises of no talkie-talkie, the whispers are out there.

Danny can promise the world but satisfying this man’s bizarre and sadistic domineering fetish to get that jam of tomorrow has proved impossible. Even the best and most admired courtesans have been bled into dry and discarded husks for resisting his psychological abuse.

He stalks the dance-floor in search of some new blood, someone he can mesmerise with his infrastructure and false visions, but the word is out and anyone with any substance sidesteps his advances with all the conviction of a All-Blacks inside centre. Businesses do not want to be associated with him and so the big new house has no address and no name.

His parsimony is now such that he cannot even hire an escort; the mercenaries will name their price to become familiars to his vampiric lusts, but he will spend the night not in the pleasures of the congress of darkness, but in falsely agreeing and then re-negotiating the price…… Conte left early before the moon had even started to rise, leaving Levy still haggling about the thread-count of the pillow cases: he had grown up work to do with proper football people about proper football matters.

So back to the dance hall sifting through those who have not already left with a partner; the desperate, the dateless…… surely there is one who can be beguiled into helping hypnotise the fan-base for another season or two of ticket sales?

But it has become harder and harder to seduce the unwary as the reputation of Levy has seeped through his fabric of secrecy, like blood oozing through a bandage not properly tightened.

The full moon rises and Levy is getting desperate: he must find someone – even the under-performers now seem attractive. He is getting desperate: HE MUST GET SOMEONE……because even as the full moon appears above the horizon the first howls are being heard; howls for blood – his blood.

All the property in the world will not keep these wolves from the door especially when they smell the putrescence of failure, inadequacy and incompetence. The howling and baying for blood get closer and Levy starts to shiver…….

I’ve always liked wolves and we can always hope.

There would have been a considerable chance of him coming to us if ENIC had been able to match his ambition. Hardly surprisingly, for a property investment company that has contrived to win one football trophy in 20 years, that was not the case. Bearing in mind Conte has won 5 league titles and a second place finish in his last 7 seasons of management, one doesn’t have to look too hard at the two parties to see where the lack of ambition lies! Hint, it’s not Conte!

There are a lot of half crazed people in our country now; isn’t there a mentally unstable Spurs fan out there to do us all a favour and rid us of the f…wit that is Daniel Levy? The departing Celtic CEO had his car(s) firebombed (don’t know whether it was done by a frustrated Celtic fan or one of Rangers’ unmentionables).

Of course, I’m not really serious about having our esteemed chairman assassinated, though it sometimes seems like the only way we’d ever be shot of his poisonous presence.

Or Eddie Howe, though he has an entourage he likes to bring along with him, apparently, so perhaps not (!) or Graham Potter. It’s all so inevitable, just like all the transfer targets we’re linked with before we unveil the latest shoddy offering from La Ligue. The atmosphere, when we get some fans back in The White Elephant, is likely at some stage to become decidedly toxic. I can’t see us returning to the CL with the players we currently have and you can then factor in the loss of HK and his inferior replacement and even qualifying for the conference could (thankfully) be beyond us (I can visualize us back to 13th place and we will have turned full circle under the present ownership with just one league and a load of near misses to show for it. The bald f…wit strikes again!

Well thats that, absolute pipe dream. I’d say in all honesty the ‘talks’ didn’t last very long
Conte: the squad needs a rebuild, whats my transfer budget?
Levy: you will need to sell to buy. We get good price for Winks, Dier, Lamela, Doherty, Sissoko and Aurier.
Conte: er ok can you give me assurances that Kane will stay?
Levy: he’s made it clear he sees his future elsewhere. 50% of his fee will be made available and Hitch has persuaded Glenn Murray to come out of retirement. Our coaching staff really believe in Troy Parrott.
Conte: Ciao Danny I have accepted an offer from Fenerbache

David Dillenberg
David Dillenberg

Hardly surprising that Conte has rejected Spurs. Surely the only surprise is why this seemingly poisoned chalice of a job destined to flop from the outset interested such a genial high profile born winner as Conte in this first place. Given the ever dwindling list what we will be left with is probably a straight choice between Graham Potter or my preference

Spurs take airing their dirty washing in public to a whole new level. I know you shouldn’t believe everything you read but what on earth is going on. One minute Poch and the next minute Conte. Now Conte doesn’t fancy it but we get his old DoF mate instead? What a mess. This is a proper mess.
The next press release probably from everyone’s favourite ITK charlatan, Alistair Gold will be “The board felt that Conte didn’t fit with our DNA. They are worried that his abrasive methods would cause unrest within the club”
I can see it now. Yes his methods will cause problems. No sh!t Sherlock. You’re trying to hire a successful coach into a cesspit of failure. If he turned up and said “I think the squad is great. I reckon with just a few extra shuttle runs we will be challenging for the title” you’d be worried.
The most likely scenario is that Conte told Levy some hard truths. I don’t like the way the press over use the word “demanded”. It’s more likely that Antonio told him what was needed to get the club out of this mess and Levy took umbrage at his remarks.
Levy is nothing if not a proud idiot.
We all know pride comes before a fall and I sincerely hope our Daniel takes one almighty fall from grace.
