I can understand sticking with Alderweireld and Dier but I don’t get Winks starting. He has done nothing this season.
Perhaps it is all about raising the value of certain players.

Spot on on every point Harry.
I ask the question, though – as will anyone with wit – which coach, and which striker is coming now to this dead-end, under this executive?
It’s a bleak thought.
So what was he supposed to do? Tell Levy to stuff the job and basically find new employment elsewhere? There’s plenty of unemployed coaches out there.
He is clearly under qualified for the job although the previous incumbent whose coaching skills are second to none hardly set the world alight

Life is about opportunity costs. Sometimes you have to sacrifice ‘beautiful’ football for a cup. Especially when you come from a low base of no silverware in over a decade.
Levy believed he could get us playing better football, with associated results without Mourinho. Mason believes Winks, Alli, Lo Celso are all better than Tanguy…. Hows that working out? 😂

Yes, bringing in a glitzy manager on his way down and paying him the 3rd highest wage in the world of football management to persuade him to kick a popped balloon around for a year and a half using old tactics designed for a club with a top 3 squad and which was subsequently sussed out by others in around 2 months and possessing no new ideas for a plan B, was indeed part of that lie.

I can just about understand our poor transfers( poor staff and lowballing), I also can get trying Mourinho to get us over the line but I can’t not fathom why giving Mason the job was an option.
only logical thing. Levy said put him in the shop window. He is crap

The fact that Mason took the job, partime or not, gives you an insight into his character. He does not have any, he is a Levy Shill.
Ok maybe I should have said I understood the propaganda from a marketing perspective……but Mason didn’t fit the false ambition
