Oliver Skipp has been loaned to Norwich City despite, this despite some Premier League interest and Europe side such as Trabzonspor and Wolfsburg, this according to The Athletic’s Charlie Eccleshare.
Skipp has a lot to do in order to threaten the Tottenham starting XI. I like the lad and have made that known, however his demeanour right now isn’t that of a gladiator so much as a teaching assistant and if the 19-year-old has ambitions of becoming a holder midfielder, then he’ll need to present himself as someone with far greater confidence.

Is Norwich the right destination for this learning curve? I take a view that this exercise is somewhat like those tests in that ‘Forged In Fire’ TV show, where the expert says, this is not about what your blade does to the ice/pig hoof, it’s about what the ice/pig hoof does to your blade.
Perhaps the most important thing Oliver can do at this stage is set his alarm clock and allow for traffic on the A11, something Marcus Edwards seemingly found impossible.
Good luck.

He needs to be playing.. He probably wouldn’t get much game time at other prem clubs.
Good luck mate. If he has a stellar season and gets them promoted he’ll be in a good spot for us the season after.
He certainly wont learn any defensive duties.
Not convinced Skippy will make the grade but then I said the same thing about Kane. Ouch!!
Skippy. Sometimes the showers are cold and the powder milk runs out
