What’s The Contingency Plan, Levy?

By The Boy -

Spurs open the 2017/2018 season at newly-promoted Newcastle, the Sky Bet Championship winners, before a first Wembley date when champions Chelsea head to the national stadium.

Son Heung-min could well miss the start of the new season.

Son who scored 21 goals in 47 games for us landed awkwardly during a challenge on Tuesday fracturing his arm in South Korea’s World Cup qualifier against Qatar.

With Erik Lamela described as 50/50 by both Ossie Ardiles and our very own Gladys – the question has got to be asked – what is your contingency plan, Mr Levy?

‘Winging it on the cheap’ is undoubtedly hardwired into Levy’s DNA, but surely even Baldy can see that a season at Wembley is neither the time or the place to employ the same cheap tactics?

Nor is it unreasonable to suggest that ‘Last Minute Levy’ will only serve to compound this stupidity by failing yet again to get what meagre transfer business we do eventually get done either too late for the player/s to benefit from a pre-season or worse yet have the fresh meat arrive AFTER the season has begun.

Over to you, cheapskate.
