Spurs 2026-27 Kits: Hummel Throwback Home, Neon Chaos Away

Tottenham have officially launched their new Nike home and away kits for the 2026-27 season, with the home shirt drawing on the club’s mid-1980s Hummel designs and the away shirt going in a rather different direction entirely.

The home top is plain white with navy accents and subtle diagonal striping – the Hummel reference is there if you squint, and it works. Clean, unfussy, inoffensive. After some of the offerings of recent years, that counts as a win. The away shirt is a more chaotic proposition: diagonal jagged lines in neon pink, purple, and orange over a navy base, which Nike describes as being inspired by Tottenham’s cultural diversity and urban street style. It will look better in motion than it does in a press shot, or at least that is the hope.

The launch film was shot entirely in the local area, featuring community members supported by the Tottenham Hotspur Foundation alongside players including Micky van de Ven, James Maddison, and Destiny Udogie, among others. The soundtrack is ‘Homegrown’ by local artist Nippa, a lifelong Spurs fan. Ledley King appears in a cameo, as does Tottenham-born boxing champion Viddal Riley. It is a more considered campaign than most kit launches manage.

AIA Era Ending, Nike Deal Running

This will be the final season the red AIA logo sits on the front of the home shirt, with the insurance company moving to a training wear role from 2027-28. A new front-of-shirt sponsor is expected to be announced ahead of that. Nike’s deal with the club runs until at least 2033 and is reported by football.london to be worth around £30 million per season – a figure signed off back in 2017 and extended in 2018.

Worth noting: the home kit had already been spotted in the wild before today’s official reveal, photographed in a London Nike store and reportedly sighted in Mexico City too. Staggered retail leakage is practically tradition at this point. The third kit is expected later in the summer.
