‘We broke him’ – Pundit claims not to watch any Spurs matches this season if Antonio Conte leaves

Tottenham Hotspur has failed to capitalize on the momentum-changing win they had this past weekend against Manchester City. Rather than using the road win to help catapult themselves into the middle of the top four race, Spurs laid an egg against Burnley.

Burnley has taken points in their last six matches, including draws against Manchester United and Arsenal. Tottenham was the latest club that Burnley takes points from as they fight in the relegation battle.

Following the loss, manager Antonio Conte questioned his future with Spurs, and talkSPORT pundit Jamie O’Hara has insisted he will ‘not watch’ Tottenham again this season if Conte leaves the club.

O’Hara stated that they have broken Conte, who called the result against Burnley a ‘disaster’ as it is now a mountain to climb to finish in the top-four.

“We broke him Jase [Cundy], we broke him,” O’Hara said on talkSPORT’s The Sports Bar. “If he walks, I’m not watching Spurs again this season. The best manager we’ve had, I think in the Premier League years and he’s going to walk after six [sic] months.”

“I’ve seen it in him over the last few weeks, his interviews, the way he’s been talking, we spoke about it the other day, before the Man City game about he’s covering his own back.”

Tottenham will look to rebound this weekend against Leeds United. Spurs now sit seven points from Manchester United, who hold onto fourth place, with the north London club now having two games in hand.
