Video: Peter O’Rourke claims Tottenham could pursue Everton ace as Harry Kane replacement

The future of Harry Kane with Tottenham Hotspur remains up in the air as the 28-year-old striker wants a move towards Manchester City. The London-based club has to prepare for the reality that they’ll need to sell Kane this summer and find a replacement.

Pete O’Rourke reports that Tottenham could be eyeing Everton FC striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin as a potential replacement.

“I still wouldn’t rule out, if Kane does go, possibly a move for Dominic Calvert-Lewin at Everton. I think he’s definitely on Tottenham’s radar; they see him as being a potential number nine,” O’Rourke said.

“He’s obviously an England international now; he was at the Euros. I think he’s an improving player, and Tottenham see him as possible replacement material for Harry Kane if they do decide to sell Kane.”

The Toffees could be open to a deal considering they have Moise Kean back in the squad to take over the striker position should a potential sale of Calvert-Lewin occur.
