Tottenham have not finished with their goalkeeping business after signing Joe Hart

Tottenham is set to confirm the signing of former Manchester City goalkeeper, Joe Hart, but the Englishman will not be the only goalkeeping business they will perform this summer.

Football insider claims that after the Englishman joins Spurs on a two-year deal that the Lilywhites will also hand out a new long-term contract to their current number one, Hugo Lloris.

Lloris has been Spurs’ first choice since he joined the Lilywhites in 2012 and his current deal is set to expire in 2022.

The club, however, has so much faith in the World Cup winner that they want to offer him an extension that will see him stay with them beyond that time.

He hasn’t been in the best of form lately and he was absent for an extended period of time through injury last season.

However, he remains a key part of the team and Jose Mourinho is happy to still work with him into the future.

Michel Vorm had been the club’s third-choice goalkeeper for a very long time, but he was released at the end of last season, a decision that opened up space for another keeper.

Hart will become the club’s third-choice after he was released by Burnley recently and he will hope to usurp Paulo Gazzaniga for the second choice position.
