Tottenham and Italian giants tipped to complete a cut-price summer transfer deal

Danny Rose’s future at Tottenham is almost certainly over after his recent troubles and the club’s willingness to ship him out on loan to Newcastle United.

Once one of the best left-backs in Europe, Rose will now look to continue his career elsewhere and there seems to be a willing taker outside of England.

Corriere Dello Sports is reporting that Italian giants Lazio is interested in making the England international their left-back.

The Italians are preparing for a return to the Champions League after having had a successful campaign this season.

They are still battling for the Italian league title, but they know that they would have to strengthen their team if they want to make a statement in Europe next season.

They have identified Rose as an experienced left-back that can help them according to the same report.

Rose has played in the Champions League for a number of seasons and the 30-year-old would be available for a cut-price deal as he has just a year left on his current contract at Tottenham.

The report claims that Rose would cost the Italians as little as 5.5 million euros and would most likely represent an upgrade to the likes of Jordan Lukaku, Senad Lulić and Jony Rodriguez.
