“They’re not better than Wolves” Pundit slams Tottenham and makes dire prediction for next season

Jermaine Jenas is desperately trying to carve out a career for himself as a pundit but unfortunately, just like his playing career, he is distinctly average.

It seems he may have realised that and has decided that the best way for him to make a name for himself is to come out with as much waffle as he can and hope some of it sticks.

That way he can come back at a later day and say, I told you so.

Speaking to the Daily Mail, Jenas reckons that next season will be no better for Spurs, that Jose Mourinho will be left out to dry, that Wolves are a better team and basically, so are Arsenal.

“It’s going to be really frustrating I think for Mourinho next year because he’s going to be the one left out to dry I think,” Jenas said.

“Essentially he needs players and they are a team that I don’t see getting in the top four right now.

“They’re not better than Wolves, they’re about on par with Arsenal but actually I see what [Mikel] Arteta is doing and I think that he is just ahead of what Mourinho is doing with his team.

“I don’t see it being a very pretty season for Jose or Tottenham at all.”

No doubt some will agree with what Jenas has said, I certainly do not and the stats are on my side.

The negativity surrounding Tottenham at the moment is very myopic in my opinion and the assumption is that we will be a mid-table team next season and are a club in free fall.

There is nothing to back that up, well, nothing solid but Jenas has got himself in the papers and on websites like this so I suppose he has achieved what he wanted to.
