PSG ready to meet Tottenham’s conditions for the signature of unsettled star

Serge Aurier is very close to a return to PSG, Football insider reports.

The Ivorian joined Tottenham from the French side in 2017 and has remained an important member of the Lilywhites’ squad.

However, he is error-prone and has never really enjoyed overwhelming support from the club’s fans.

His current deal runs out after next season and Spurs have agreed to sell him back to the French giants.

The report says he has agreed on personal terms with Mauricio Pochettino’s side and the former French champions are also prepared to meet Tottenham’s terms to get the deal sorted.

Spurs apparently negotiated this transfer before the arrival of Fabio Paratici is made official and the report says even the opinion of their next manager will not stop him from making the move.

The Lilywhites signed Matt Doherty from Wolves last summer and they have also used Japhet Tanganga in the right-back spot, so they would feel they have enough cover for that position.

Aurier has been on the radar of PSG for some time now and even though he could be frustrating to watch, it seems Poch is confident that he can get better performances from him.
