Tottenham ace with 36 appearances this season changes agent to seal summer exit

Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg has hired a new agent as he looks to part ways with Tottenham Hotspur.

The Danish international has gone down the pecking order at Tottenham Hotspur since the arrival of Ange Postecoglou. He is unhappy with his limited game time and according to a report by Football Insider, Hojbjerg has hired new agents to secure a move away from the club in the summer.

Hojbjerg was an important first-team player at Tottenham until the last season but a lot has changed under the Australian boss. He is now behind Pape Matar Sarr, Yves Bissouma and Rodrigo Bentancur in the pecking order.

While the former Bayern Munich midfielder has been involved in 36 games this term, he has only started in a handful of those fixtures and has been on the pitch for less than 1,400 minutes. The 28-year-old is not happy with his limited game time and wants to secure a move to Serie A ahead of next season. Multiple top clubs in Italy are keen on his signature.

In order to ensure things go according to plan, Hojbjerg has hired a new agent to secure himself a move away from the North London club. Tottenham have given his representative the green light to look for a new club as they are ready to cash in on the Danish midfielder.

They are looking to generate funds for an overhaul in the summer and his departure will only help their cause. With his contract expiring in just over 12 months, it could be the ideal time to cash in on him.
