Italian giants set to offer a high profile swap deal to Tottenham

Inter Milan is prepared to propose a swap deal between themselves and Tottenham, according to reports.

Corriere Dello Sport via Team Talk reports that the Italians are planning to offer Marcelo Brozovic to Tottenham in exchange for Tanguy Ndombele.

Ndombele joined Spurs in the summer for a club-record fee, but the former Lyon man hasn’t been in the best of form, so far.

He has struggled in his first campaign in the English top-flight and he recently fell out with Jose Mourinho for his lack of application.

His struggles have made teams become interested in him ahead of the next transfer window, however, Tottenham remains adamant that he is not for sale at the moment and that he would be given another season to prove his worth.

Inter Milan, however, believe that they might be able to tempt the Lilywhites to do business by offering them Brozovic in return.

The report claims that Antonio Conte feels he needs a new defensive midfielder other than the Croatian who joined them in 2016, and he hopes to get Ndombele through the door.

Ndombele hasn’t been public about his future and so much of this is pure speculation, however, there is no denying that his situation is volatile and it would not be the biggest surprise to see him moved on this summer.

But a swap deal with Brozovic? I highly doubt that but who knows, nothing would surprise me with Daniel Levy.
