Alasdair Gold: Spurs chief Fabio Paratici is a huge ‘admirer’ of the ‘unplayable’ Premier League star

According to Football London‘s Alasdair Gold, Tottenham Hotspur managing director Fabio Paratici is a big fan of Newcastle United winger Allan Saint-Maximin.

Conte made it clear that he would expect direct replacements for whoever leaves the club this window and with Bryan Gil expected to join Valencia, the Italian manager is looking for an adequate substitute.

Gold has commented on Tottenham’s potential transfer targets, revealing an interest in several Premier League players including Newcastle forward Allan Saint-Maximin, who according to him, Fabio Paratici is a huge ‘admirer’ of.

After Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola praised the ‘dangerous‘ forward for his outstanding performance against his team on Sunday, in which he contributed two assists in a 3-3 draw, it is easy to see why Conte would want a Premier League proven star in his squad.

With Spurs looking to build on their current squad, the addition of Saint-Maximin at Hotspur Way would add fantastic depth and quality, sparking fierce competition among the attacking options at the club.

Amongst other names Gold dropped was Everton star Anthony Gordon and Wolves speedster Adama Traore. But amongst these options, the ‘unplayable‘ Newcastle star is certainly the best and most exciting option.
