Antonio Conte lost his cool on the sidelines as he knocked the ball out of Pep Lijnders hands.
Antonio Conte is well-known for allowing his emotions get the better of him, and this happened again against Liverpool.
Moments after Spurs pulled one back, Antonio Conte was seen getting worked up on the touchline, slapping the ball out of Liverpool assistant manager Pep Lijnders’ hands, rather needlessly, given that Robertson already had the ball in his hand and the game was about to resume.
Watch the incident below:
The Italian was of course shown a yellow card for his actions. It is not the first time Conte has lost his head on the sidelines and got a booking for it.
Remember the famous spat with Tuchel earlier in the season? The Italian clashed with the then Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel in a tense 2-2 draw after he celebrated the goal in front of opposition’s bench.
And the spat continued after the full time whistle when the final whistle handshake turned fiery. Tuchel refused to let Conte’s hand go during their handshake because the Tottenham manager was not looking him in the eyes, sparking a brawl. They had to be separated and were both given red cards.
