Unsettled Tottenham man has a change of heart and wants to stay now

L’Equipe via GetfootballnewsFrance is reporting that Tottenham midfielder, Tanguy Ndombele is no longer thinking about leaving the Lilywhites this summer, and he believes that he can stay and achieve his goals with the team.

The midfielder joined Spurs from Lyon last summer and he struggled for form and his application was also questioned by Jose Mourinho.

He fell out with the Portuguese manager and he even told him that he would not be playing for him again.

In typical Mourinho fashion, the manager questioned the player’s commitment to the team, and it appeared that he would leave the club this summer.

The report, however, claims that the relationship between the midfielder and his manager has now been repaired thanks to the intervention of Daniel Levy.

The player has now changed his mind from wanting to leave the club to not wanting to be a flop, the report adds.

Spurs have had to turn down several approaches to keep Ndombele, the most serious of which was from Inter Milan.

The midfielder scored in Spurs’ 2-1 win over Lokomotiv Plovdiv in the Europa League, and he will hope that it is a sign of good things to come this season.
