Tottenham will have to pay more than £45 million to land Premier League ace

Tottenham wants to sign Adama Traore before this transfer window closes as Nuno Espirito Santo looks to be reunited with the Spaniard.

He managed him at Wolves last season and believes the Barcelona academy product can also be useful to his Tottenham side.

The Lilywhites could conclude the transfer before this window shuts and if they sell Harry Kane, they will have more than enough money to tempt Wolves into selling.

The Midlands club has sold some of their top talents in recent seasons, but they don’t always allow them to leave on a cheap with most of them earning big money moves away from the club.

They sold Diogo Jota to Liverpool last summer in a deal worth around £45 million, according to Sky Sports.

The attacker has gone on to disrupt Liverpool’s front three of Sadio Mane, Roberto Firmino and Mohamed Salah, keeping Firmino on the bench for their league matches this season so far.

As Spurs become interested in a move for Traore, Dharmesh Sheth says via the Transfer Show on Sky Sports as posted by Football Daily on Twitter that Wolves will start from the amount Liverpool paid for Jota and Spurs should expect to pay more.
