Tottenham outcast could be on his way to Championship outfit

Juan Foyth is one player that has failed to impress Jose Mourinho since the Portuguese manager took over at Tottenham.

The Argentinean defender was signed by former manager Mauricio Pochettino who managed to convince the defender to snub other suitors including PSG and to move to the Premier League with Spurs.

He had been building his career little by little under the former Spurs boss, but Mourinho hasn’t seen enough of him to trust him, and he could be set to leave the Lilywhites on loan.

He has been linked with a permanent transfer away from Spurs before now (The Times) and the latest report on his future claims that he could be on his way out of Spurs on loan next season.

Daily Ole via Inside futbol claims that the defender is wanted by Leeds United in the Championship for next season.

The report also claims that Leeds are set to lose Ben White who will return to Brighton after his loan spell with the Championship side and are considering Foyth as his replacement.

Foyth’s future remains unclear and it would be interesting to see if the defender will be sold permanently or allowed to leave the club on loan to boost his chances of breaking into Mourinho’s first XI at a later date.
