Dean Henderson To Replace Hugo Lloris says a report… Really?

Tottenham is looking to sign Dean Henderson as a replacement for Hugo Lloris according to a new report.

Henderson has been on loan at Sheffield United this season and he has been in fantastic form for the Blades, helping them keep ten clean sheets.

His path to the first team at Manchester United is blocked by the equally impressive, David de Gea and he could be set to leave the Old Trafford side for good.

Sun Sports via Football365 claims that Jose Mourinho is targeting a move for the goalkeeper.

The report claims that the Portuguese tactician wants him to come and battle for the number one shirt with Hugo Lloris and he may eventually replace the Frenchman who isn’t getting any younger.

Mourinho knows Henderson well as he is the one who sanctioned the Englishman’s initial loan move to The Blades when he was still the manager of Manchester United.

Henderson is seen as a future England international and his performances this season was set to earn him an England cap before the international games were called off due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Paolo Gazzaniga has deputized for Lloris when the Frenchman has been unavailable this season, but the Argentinean might not be handed the position long term if Lloris leaves.
