Spurs duo handed shock downgrade in FIFA 23 ratings – Opinion

EA Sports have recently confirmed the Tottenham player ratings for FIFA 23 and star striker Harry Kane has been handed a surprising downgrade.

The 29-year-old England international had an impressive individual campaign last year scoring 27 goals across all competitions but the video game developers have decided to hand him a downgrade from 90 to 89.

Only Mohamed Salah scored more goals in all competitions out of all Premier League players.

Harry Kane is currently rated at 89 in the upcoming edition of the FIFA video game which is set to release on 30th September.

Kane remains the highest-rated player in the Tottenham squad, although his teammate Son Heung-Min has been handed a rating of 89 as well.

The England international is not the only Tottenham attacker to receive a downgrade from EA sports.

Brazilian striker Richarlison has been downgraded as well from 82 to 81. The former Everton striker joined Tottenham for a fee of around £60 million earlier this summer.

Despite not scoring a lot of goals last season, the 25-year-old was crucial for Everton in their relegation battle and he helped them beat the drop. Receiving a downgrade after his vital performances for his side is highly surprising.

Meanwhile, Swedish international winger Dejan Kulusevski was handed an unchanged rating despite his impressive start to life in England.

The winger joined Tottenham midway through last season and he was outstanding for Antonio Conte’s side during the second half of the campaign.
