Slo Mo Levy Allows Bids From MUFC & Juve

According to French Sources Daniel Levy’s usual dithering over pennies has jeopardized another significant transfer deal.

The suggestion is that Lyon are holding out for €90million for Tanguy Nombele.

Presumably the Bald Avenger is hoping to trim Mauricio Pochettino’s already sparse squad further in order to rustle up funds, and has only matched bids from other big European sides such as Juventus and Manchester United.

Paris Saint Germain are also rumoured to be sniffing about in the wings.

What is of interest here, is that the Lyon President would appear to have already shipped in a likely replacement, as covered by the Harry Hotspur blog earlier today.

Recently we read quotes from the Lyon President Aulas, who told the French press that a key indicator in any deal for Tanguy beginning to take shape if a good box-to-box midfield youngster arriving at his club.

It looks to me as if our old friend President Aulas is playing a shrewd game here.

Tanguy NDombele was bought for comparative buttons, so was Jean Lucas from Flamengo.

In the meantime, suitors for Tanguy can twist in the breeze until Aulas gives his presidential nod.

Yup. What joy. Daniel Levy is playing Chicken again.
