“Sensible” “Balanced” José Says Spurs Will Behave In Transfer Market| video

Jose Mourinho has told Sky Sports that he expects Tottenham to be “sensible” and “balanced” in the summer transfer window.

But he admits he doesn’t know when it will be or how long it will last.

Most clubs across Europe face a change of recruitment tact this summer in the wake of Covid-19, with The Telegraph reporting yesterday that Spurs will have no money to spend and will rely on free transfers and swaps.

Mourinho claimed that transfers are the last thing he is thinking about as he prepares the squad for the resumption of the Premier League season, but he had already accepted tha he’ll not have “rivers of money” to spend.

Notice that Jose didn’t rule out making signings. There are players available on a free or with contracts expiring who can be good solutions for us.

Being sensible and balanced is not new to Daniel Levy. If ever there was a transfer window made for his business model, then the next one is it.
