Report: Wolves, Spurs stuck over the type of transfer for Adama Traoré

It’s been a difficult last few days when it comes to negotiations between Tottenham Hotspur and Wolverhampton Wanderers over the forward Adama Traoré. However, Wolves might realize to get the best offer they have to sell this month with only 18 months left on his contract.

According to the Spanish media outlet AS, both teams have reached an agreement on the final price of the transfer, but the problem comes in the type of transfer.

Tottenham reportedly wants to sign the 25-year-old on loan for a season before paying a mandatory £39-million fee for him next summer. However, Wolves would like a regular transfer for the same fee.

The negotiation for Traoré is walking a fine line, as the talks between the two clubs can collapse at any time due to the difference in how they should do the deal.

Nonetheless, AS stresses with a few days left in the transfer window, anything can happen; either Spurs secure the deal or talks fall apart.
