Report: Wolves remain adamant that they don’t want to sell star forward to Tottenham

Tottenham Hotspur wants to make final additions to the squad before the summer transfer window closes next week. The London-based club has seen their name in connection with Wolverhampton Wanderers forward Adama Traoré.

However, any hope that Tottenham had of reuniting the 25-year-old with his former manager could be dwindling.

According to The Telegraph, Wolves are adamant they have no plans to sell the Spain international this summer, serving a severe blow to Nuno Espírito Santo’s bid to work with the Wolves forward again.

Traore has two years remaining on his contract and is understood to have been interested in working with his former manager again.

Despite Traore’s openness to a departure and has not altered Wolves’ stance, the 24-year-old seen as an indispensable member of Bruno Lage’s squad has already made a brilliant start to the new campaign.

If Tottenham wants to add another forward to their squad, it seems as though they’ll need to look elsewhere.
