Report: Tottenham offering swap deal for Juventus forward

The January transfer window is open, and Tottenham Hotspur will attempt to improve their squad as they find themselves within striking distance of a UEFA Champions League spot.

One of the positions that Spurs will want to reinforce this month is the forward group. Tottenham is reportedly in on Juventus forward Dejan Kulusevski, and Gazzetta Dello Sport (via CasaNapoli) reports how they want to acquire the 21-year-old.

According to the Italian media outlet, Tottenham may be looking to swap Giovani Lo Celso for the Sweden international. Since the arrival of manager Antonio Conte, Lo Celso has not made a single start for Tottenham under the 52-year-old tactician, partly due to his injury woes.

Despite the Argentine’s lack of playing time under Conte, it doesn’t seem wise to try and offload a player that the Italian tactician has yet to see up close. Tottenham does seem to want Kulusevski, but they might have to opt towards another way of landing him.
