Report: Tottenham have put an offer on the table for a Man City forward

Tottenham Hotspur is in the market for scoring depth, considering the number of competitions they’ll be in next season. Spurs might want to lessen their dependency on Harry Kane and Son Heung-min as they can rely only on those two if they’re going to end their trophy drought.

One of the names linked to the north London club is Manchester City’s Gabriel Jesus, who is likely on the move this summer since Erling Haaland will be taking over the striker role.

With the Brazilian reportedly available, Tuttojuve reports that Tottenham has put a bid to beat out other clubs like Arsenal and Juventus in an attempt to land the 25-year-old.

According to the Italian media outlet, Spurs have a €47-million proposal for the forward. Jesus has one more year on his deal, so it will be interesting to see if Manchester City plays hardball in these discussions or will be keen on letting him go if a bid is in the neighborhood of what they want.

This past season, Jesus appeared in 41 fixtures, scoring 13 goals and recording 12 assists.
