Report: Juventus wants €40M for Tottenham Hotspur transfer target

Despite the additions of Rodrigo Bentancur and Pape Matar Sarr over the past two transfer windows, Tottenham Hotspur wants to strengthen their midfield this summer. There are several files that Spurs can pursue as various reports have indicated.

However, one name that’s constantly connected to Tottenham Hotspur since the arrival of Managing Director of Football Fabio Paratici is Juventus midfielder Weston McKennie. Those rumors aren’t going away with the summer transfer window set to open.

According to Corriere dello Sport (via Italian Football TV), Tottenham has asked Juventus about the American. The Serie A side has told the Premier League club that if they were to sell, it would be for €40-million.

McKennie appeared in 29 fixtures this past season for The Old Lady, scoring four goals and recording zero assists. Should Spurs land the 23-year-old this summer, he would mark the third Juventus player to leave the Serie A side for north London.
