Report – Bayern Munich weighing up a summer raid on Tottenham

German outlet, Sport1 is claiming that Bayern Munich has made Tanguy Ndombele a summer target.

The Frenchman only joined Spurs in the summer, but his turbulent first season might end with him being transferred away from north London.

Bayern Munich remains one of the biggest teams in Europe, and their dominance of the German game should make them the team that keeps hold of their best players.

However, they are on the verge of losing former Barcelona man, Thiago Alcantara this summer.

The Spaniard has told them that he won’t be signing a new deal as he seeks a fresh challenge and the Bavarians are now looking for a replacement for him.

The report claims that Bayern has made Ndombele a summer target. He is one of several names that they are considering.

Ndombele hasn’t had the best of first seasons. His lack of application has seen him fail to feature regularly for Jose Mourinho since the restart.

The club is, however, clear that he isn’t for sale, but a big-money offer might tempt Daniel Levy into cashing in on him.

Spurs are also targeting a summer move for Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg from Southampton and his arrival might push Ndombele further down the pecking order.
