Premier League clubs lining up to sign one of Tottenham’s five transfer targets

Tottenham is facing a serious battle in their bid to land Bournemouth striker, Callum Wilson.

The Englishman has been one of the Cherries’ most important players since he joined them from Coventry in 2014.

His goals had been one of the reasons why they were in the Premier League for so long before being relegated this season.

He is one player that is very unlikely to go down with them because of his qualities as well as his large wage.

Tottenham have been linked with a move for him for some time and now that he will probably be sold, he looks to be a serious contender for the backup striker role at Spurs.

Wilson is in fact one of the five targets that Tottenham are interesting in signing, as we previously reported.

Sky Sports claims that the Lilywhites aren’t the only team looking to sign him with Leeds United, West Ham and Newcastle United also interested in signing the England international.

Spurs haven’t made any major signing yet and as teams prepare for next season, they will need to act fast before his other suitors move in and sign him.

One advantage that Jose Mourinho’s side has over the other clubs is that they will be playing in Europe next season and that might help them convince Wilson to wait on a bid from them.

But with three Premier League clubs sniffing around, Tottenham needs to be careful not to prevaricate for too long or they will run the risk of missing out on yet another supposed target.
