Player’s agent drops transfer hint with a post on Instagram amidst exit links

Japhet Tanganga has been linked with a move away from Tottenham all summer and now it seems like a deal has finally been agreed with Italian giants AS Roma.

It was reported a week ago that Jose Mouinho had made a last minute move to hijack Tanganga’s deal. While the player looked to be all set to move to AC Milan, the former Spurs man swooped in for him.

While covering Tottenham’s pursuit of Zaniolo, the print edition of Gazzetta dello Sport (via Sport Witness) stated on Monday that we should ‘keep an eye on Tottenham’s Tanganga,’ with Mourinho’s men said to be on the lookout for another central defender.

And now his agent Di Fanti has added fuel to the reports by posting a picture of AS Roma headquarters seemingly confirming that he was at the club to negotiate a move.

The picture may or may not be related to Tanganga as the agent also represents other players including Roma’s Mattia Ruggiero but with the timing of the post and the speculations surrounding Tanganga, one can surely assume it could have some relation.
