Tottenham Hotspur could make a sensational move to sign Zlatan Ibrahimovic following Jose Mourinho’s arrival, reports The Telegraph.
Mourinho was announced as Mauricio Pochettino’s successor on Wednesday morning and will take charge of his first game as Spurs manager against London rivals West Ham United tomorrow.

And, according to The Telegraph, the 56-year-old may not even wait until the January transfer window to try to put his own stamp on the squad.
Ibrahimovic is a free agent following the end of his contract at Los Angeles Galaxy and had been expected to rejoin one of his former clubs – AC Milan.
However, The Telegraph understands that Mourinho is considering making the Swede an offer to partner with him for a third time, the pair having previously worked together at Inter Milan and Manchester United.
A couple of stumbling blocks to any potential deal may be the 38-year-old striker’s wage demands and his preference of an 18-month contract.
We have been without any significant support for Harry Kane for five seasons now so Ibrahimovic does represent a tempting short-term option.
In many ways, Zlatan is the Mourinho of the playing world; brash and potentially divisive, but a serial winner and that is difficult to ignore.
