Mourinho’s Fallen Out With A Top Spurs Star According To A Good Source

Former Aston Villa man Gabby Agbonlahor was on talkSPORT when he dropped the bombshell that José Mourinho and Dele Alli had fallen out BEFORE a ball was kicked against Everton on Sunday. Paul Jiggins for The Sun quotes Gabby as saying:

Dele is still well thought of by many, if not most fans, as the bit can still turn it on when he wants to, but almost as many supporters still don’t care for José, it’s not difficult to predict what much of the fan reaction will be like.

Alternatively you can watch the All or Nothing documentary, where Mourinho tells Levy that Dele doesn’t train well – as well as telling the lad to his face – that he’s heard that he’s ‘effin’ lazy in training.

Under Mauricio Pochettino (who is still unemployed), it is fair comment that Dele would’ve stayed on for much longer, it would have been very unusual for the Argentine to make a substitution so early on in a game.

Personally I hope the penny drops with Dele, he finds some focus, and starts to live up to the hype more often.
