Jose Mourinho looking to hijack Chelsea’s move for top Premier League talent

Jose Mourinho is plotting a summer move for Manchester United goalkeeper, Dean Henderson, according to Mundo Deportivo via Express Sports.

The Englishman has been on loan at Sheffield United this season, and he has been one of the best goalies in the Premier League.

His fine form for the Blades has brought about talks of him returning to Old Trafford and becoming the number one there.

The Blades also want him back as their goalie next season, but Chelsea is interested in signing him permanently.

The Blues have lost patience with the world’s most expensive goalkeeper, Kepa Arrizabalaga, and Frank Lampard is on the lookout for a new keeper.

The former midfielder believes that Henderson can become the number one at Stamford Bridge and he is looking to sign the 23-year-old.

Mourinho is apparently looking to hijack the Blues’ move as he looks for cover for Hugo Lloris.

Lloris is one of the best in the Premier League, but the report claims that the Portuguese manager wants to give him some competition and Henderson has been identified as a goalie that can bring that competition.

It remains unclear what Manchester United’s plans for Henderson are, but he will not want to play second fiddle to David de Gea next season, which also brings into question any potential move to the Tottenham Stadium.
