Italian media: €50M price-tag put on Spurs target despite contract issue

Tottenham are reportedly interested in Napoli forward Arkadiusz Milik, but the Italian giants are said to want at least €50m to green-light an exit.

Jose Mourinho’s side has struggled in recent weeks, with injuries to Harry Kane and Heung Min-Son limiting their options in attack.

January signing Steven Bergwijn also suffered a setback this month, and so with a fully-fit squad, the Spurs boss does still have options.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport though, Tottenham are said to be interested in Milik along with rivals Arsenal, although Napoli owner Aurelio De Laurentiis is said to want at least €50m for the Polish international.

Milik, 26, has been in good form this season with 12 goals in 22 games, and so he could offer quality depth up front for Spurs to give them an option aside from Kane.

However, with his current contract set to expire in 2021, and with the report above adding that talks over a renewal at Napoli have stalled, it’s unclear if Spurs, Arsenal or any interested party is willing to splash out up to €50m on a player who could be a free agent in just over 12 months time.
