‘In the list’ Journalist says Real Madrid could look to Hotspur Way after missing on Camp des Loges ace

After missing out on Kylian Mbappe to start the summer to help reinforce the attack, Real Madrid could be looking elsewhere to find some help on the wing. The names linked to the Spanish club include Tottenham Hotspur’s Son Heung-min.

Italian football journalist Rudy Galetti reports that Real Madrid is eyeing the South Korea international following his impressive goalscoring form, which saw the 29-year-old score 24 goals in 45 appearances this past season.

With the departures of Isco, Gareth Bale, and likely Marco Asensio, manager Carlo Ancelotti is looking to bolster his options this summer after several exits in the attack.

There’s no telling the amount Los Blancos would pay for Son if they’re indeed interested, but Transfermarkt puts his value at £68 million for the winger whose contract doesn’t expire until 2025.

Spurs and Real Madrid do have good relations as they have done business in the past for Luka Modric and Bale. Nonetheless, with UEFA Champions League football on the horizon next season, it’s difficult seeing Son leave north London this summer.
