“He will help make them money” Mixed reaction to Daniel Levy new ECA executive position

Daniel Levy has been voted as one of the new executive directors of the European Club Association and some football fans believe it just shows UEFA knows how to get a money man onto their team.

The Tottenham supremo is one of the more well-known football executives and he has earned his fame mainly by being on the winning side of negotiating deals when selling his players.

Much of Tottenham’s rise above their neighbours, Arsenal, in recent times could be attributed to Levy’s ability to negotiate good deals and to get clubs to pay top dollar for Tottenham players while buying better ones.

He earned even more respect after successfully denying Manchester City the chance to sign Harry Kane this summer and a lot of clubs would want someone like him in their driving seat.

A few months after leading Tottenham out of the ECA for the doomed European Super League, he has now been voted in as one of their directors and Sky Sports posted the news on their Twitter account.
