Former Tottenham man hoping to lure Dele Alli to France

Former Tottenham employee, Paul Mitchell is looking to lure Dele Alli to Monaco, reports Graeme Bailey.

Bailey, who reports for the likes of Mirror Football claims that Mitchell is keeping a close eye on the development of the unsettled England International.

Alli has been struggling to get into the Tottenham team recently having failed to reach the levels of performance expected of him by Jose Mourinho.

The special one has made it clear that the attacking midfielder will have to do better to get in the team and that has thrown his future into doubt.

PSG have been linked with a move for him, while Ray Parlour has urged Arsenal to also make a move for Alli (Talksport).

But it seems that the man who helped Tottenham sign him from MK Dons, Mitchell, will also consider taking him to Monaco, whom he currently works for.

Mitchell was made the sporting director of Monaco in June this year and he is now looking at the English market for the recruitment of top talent for the Municipality side.

Bailey Tweeted: “Monaco sporting director Paul Mitchell keeping a close eye on English market…should the likes of Dele Alli and Callum Hudson-Odoi be available, they will be interested in offering them a route to Monte Carlo.”
