Former Tottenham boss uses one word to describe his coaching stint, chairman Daniel Levy

Former Tottenham Hotspur manager Jose Mourinho is back in England as his AS Roma side is taking on Leicester City in the semifinals of the UEFA Conference League. Although most questions were about his matchup against The Foxes, the Portuguese manager shed some light on his exit from north London.

Mourinho has been coaching for two decades now, and he has seen the good and the bad that come with the job. However, he did state having a distinctive experience while at the helm of Spurs.

The Roma boss was asked about being afraid to win the competition, leading him to describe his stint at Tottenham and chairman Daniel Levy in one word when discussing the good and bad that football has given the 59-year-old.

“In my long career with so many things that happened to me for good for bad, that one is quite unique, but I also think Mr. Levy is quite a unique person,” Mourinho said at his news conference

Mourinho spent two seasons managing 88 fixtures with Tottenham leading him to possess a record of 44 wins, 19 draws, and 23 losses. The former manager also had a winning percentage of 51-percent during his tenure.
