‘Don’t be surprised’ – Journalist implies Spurs aren’t done with signings yet

Tottenham Hotspur have been quite active during the summer transfer window and they have brought in quality players like Richarlison, Ivan Perisic, Yves Bissouma, Fraser Forster, Clement Lenglet and Djed Spence.

However, the Premier League club might not be done in the transfer market just yet.

According to Ben Jacobs from CBS sports, the Londoners might just look to bring in one or two players before the window closes.

However, he adds that Spurs are currently focused on outgoings rather than incomings. They are looking to get rid of the fringe players and recoup some money from the sales.

It will be interesting to see if Tottenham decide to dip into the transfer market for further reinforcement in the coming days.

They have been linked with a few defenders and creative midfielders in recent weeks. The likes of James Maddison, Nicolo Zaniolo and Nikola Milenkovic are some of the names being linked with a move to the London club.

It is no secret the Spurs could use more quality and depth in their midfield and defence. All three aforementioned players could improve Antonio Conte’s side next season and it remains to be seen how the situation evolves.
